Abstract
Indonesia, a country consisting of various tribes, islands, religions, and languages. Therefore, it is our obligation to maintain its unity and integrity. Education on the importance of unity and integrity is also one way to preserve it. A study of the exegesis of QS. Āli ‘Imrān verse 103 is the answer. To achieve these goals, the method used in the research is library research and it is classified as a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis. The data for this research is taken from the books of Tafsīr Sa’rāwī li Sa’rāwī, At-Tafsīr Munīr li Az-Zuhailī, and Tafsīr At-Taḥrīr wa At-Tanwīr li Ibn ‘Āsyūr as primary data. Meanwhile, the secondary data is taken from the books written by other scholars, journals, and articles related to this research. The result of this research is that QS. Āli ‘Imrān verse 103 contains Allah's prohibition against disunity and mutual enmity. This verse was revealed regarding the conflict between the 'Aus and Khajraj tribes who later united under the umbrella of Islam. Tolerance is the spirit of the Muslim community that must be highlighted, especially if it is intended to show the reflection of Islam as raḥmatan li al-’ālamīn (a mercy to all creation) and intended to realize national unity which consists of various tribes, languages, and religions. Theoretically, this research contributes to the understanding of the Word of God Almighty in the realm of unity and integrity.
